Ajaccio, the Imperial city,
Ajaccio is a horizontal, elegant and luminous city, with pastel colours. From the sea, the birth place of Napoleon and Tino Rossi, expands on two floors, behind a wonderful bay, the most beautiful in the world with the 'Iles Sanguinaires' and its reddish colour which tower up at the outskirt of the town.

The area of Ajaccio is ideally located between beaches and mountains ; it is a true mosaic of natural sites, monuments, beautiful beaches.

In the north, the impressive 'Calanches de Piana', a site listed at the Worldwide Patrimony of Unesco, the city of 'Porto' and eventually the wonderful Natural Reserve of 'Scandola', are sites whose cultural and natural richness is incredible.
